ESET and EVC Group have announced a strategic partnership focused on bolstering Europe’s cyber and energy resilience by developing cutting-edge battery energy storage systems. The collaboration centers on the creation of CyberSec BESS, a new line of cyber-secure battery energy storage solutions tailored for the European market. The partnership was cemented through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) that outlines the framework for the development, certification, and commercialization of CyberSec BESS. This initiative was unveiled on 25 June 2026 at Intersolar Europe in Munich, a premier event for renewable energy and associated technologies. The project aims to comply with current and future European Union cybersecurity regulations, ensuring the long-term resilience of critical energy systems.
CyberSec BESS aims to merge European cybersecurity expertise, system integration, and certification with global battery manufacturing prowess.
