Alipov Condemns ‘Unprofessional’ European Belief in Russian Defeat

Russian Ambassador Denis Alipov has condemned the “unprofessional” belief held by European nations that Russia can be militarily defeated in Ukraine.

During an event in Gurugram, Alipov did not mince words, labeling the European stance as “childish behavior” and “craziness.” He insisted that “there is no chance” for a Ukrainian victory.

He argued that this “belligerence” is futile. The reason, he explained, is that Russia’s nuclear arsenal makes it impossible to “take over” the country in the conflict.

The ambassador explicitly referenced Russia’s nuclear doctrine. He stated that this policy allows for the use of nuclear weapons in the event of an “existential threat” to the Russian state.

Alipov also drew a comparison to President Donald Trump, whom he said “understands” the war is “lost by Ukraine and the West,” a position at odds with the continued supply of Western arms to Kyiv.
