Breaking: Turkish Defense Companies Achieve Top 100 Global Rankings

In a significant development for Türkiye’s defense industry, five Turkish defense companies have made their mark in the 2026 global Top 100 defense companies ranking. This achievement underscores Türkiye’s expanding capabilities in defense manufacturing and exports. Leading the group is ASELSAN, which ascended to 40th place, a jump from its previous 43rd position. Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAI) follows at 48th, while ARCA Defense made its debut on the list at 53rd. Roketsan improved its standing to 64th from 71st, and MKE is positioned at 81st.

Together, these companies generated approximately $14.9 billion in defense revenue in 2025. ASELSAN led with $4.46 billion, followed by TAI at $3.65 billion. ARCA Defense contributed $3 billion, Roketsan $2.37 billion, and MKE $1.42 billion. This growth trajectory is bolstered by increasing international demand for Turkish defense products, reflecting the country’s strategic expansion in sectors such as military electronics, aerospace, missile systems, and advanced ammunition technologies.

The ascent of these companies in the rankings highlights Türkiye’s growing influence in the global defense market. The country has been steadily enhancing its capacity to develop and export a wide array of defense systems.
