Hayden Panettiere, celebrated for her performances in “Heroes,” “Nashville,” and the “Scream” franchise, has passed away at the age of 36. Her representative confirmed the news, though the cause of death has not been disclosed. Her father, Skip Panettiere, paid tribute to her vibrant spirit, describing her as “an incredible light and a force of nature” who spread love and happiness to those around her.

Panettiere’s acting career began early, with appearances in commercials and her film debut as the voice of Dot in “A Bug’s Life.” She further gained recognition with roles in movies like “Remember the Titans” and “Tiger Cruise.” However, her breakthrough came at 17 with the role of Claire Bennet in the popular TV series “Heroes,” which aired from 2006 to 2010 and solidified her international fame.

Expanding her repertoire, Panettiere starred as Juliette Barnes, a country music artist, in the series “Nashville.” Her portrayal earned her two Golden Globe nominations, and several of her songs from the show made it to the Billboard country music charts. She also played the character Kirby Reed in “Scream 4” and reprised this role in “Scream VI” in 2023.

Beyond her career, Panettiere faced personal challenges, which she openly discussed in recent years. She spoke candidly about her battles with addiction, recovery, and postpartum depression. Earlier this year, she published a memoir titled “This Is Me: A Reckoning,” offering further insight into her life and struggles.

Hayden Panettiere leaves behind her parents and her daughter, Kaya Klitschko, as the world remembers her for her talent and resilience.
